The Power Button is on the right-hand side of the terminal. Hold it down to power on.

Charging

How to charge your card terminal 🔋

The card terminal should arrive partially charged. It can be used plugged in, or on battery, but we recommend charging it fully it as soon as possible to maximise the battery life.

You will find a charging cable and plug in the box the terminal arrived in.

To charge your terminal:

  • Put the plug into a suitable wall socket
  • Connect the USB cable to the plug
  • Plug the USB C end of the cable to the left hand side of the terminal
  • If charging, the battery indicator will show as charging.

Connecting to The Internet

Wifi or Sim

First, you'll need to connect your terminal to the internet.

Your terminal should already have a Sim Card in for GPRS, but will be faster connected to Wifi if possible.

To connect your Terminal to Wifi:

  1. Click the three lines in the top-left
  2. Tap 'Device Settings'
  3. Enter the default password: 9876
  4. Tap 'Network & Internet'
  5. Tap Wi-Fi
  6. Select your network and follow the prompts to connect.

Your terminal should now be connected to the internet! 

Login

Access Genie 🧞‍♂️

To login, you'll need two things:
 

  • Your MID Number. This can be found...
  • Your Merchant email address - this is the one you used to apply for Merchant Services

First, enter your MID Number

On the next screen, enter your Merchant Email Address, and the Password will be your MID Number.
